A 40-year-old man, Toni Hendriawan, was arrested by Metro Police in Lampung, South Sumatra, on Thursday, for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old junior high school student, with the initials BL, who he met through Facebook.
Toni told police he had had sex with the teenager five times.
He said he had first met BL through a social networking website, Facebook, in April 2010.
He and BL then met up in person during BL’s family trip to Palembang, the capital city of South Sumatra.
As the relationship progressed, Toni visited BL in Metro, a municipality of Lampung, the following December.
Toni was later reported to police by BL’s parents after he rented a house in Metro to be closer to BL.
