An L-300 minivan reeled off and rolled over after being hit from behind by a truck laden with sand in Bejen village, Temanggung, Central Java on Thursday evening. Six people died instantly at the scene.
The victims were identified as Nurazati, Sumiyatun, Wasilah and Abdul Rozak. Police
has yet to find the identities of the remaining three. All of them are residents of Getas village, Kendal, Semarang.
Temanggung traffic police chief Adj. Comr. Setya Budi Waspada was quoted by Tribun Jogja as saying that truck driver Latif had lost control over his truck and struck the minivan.
