Insurance firm PT Pan Pacific Insurance says it is eyeing Rp 200 billion (US$22 million) in premium this year, up from Rp 72 billion last year.

The company is in the process of selectingsix cities — deciding between Pekanbaru, Lampung, Bogor, Cirebon, Semarang, Malang, Balikpapan, and Makassar — to host new branche offices.

A new branch in Kelapa Gading also opened on Thursday, and is expected to generate premiums of up to Rp 7 billion, Marcel said.
